Who we are

GreenMove is an energy consulting business serving San Diego County, California. We help homeowners and businesses plan solar, batteries and EV charging. You can reach us at info@greenmove.energy.

What we collect

When you request a savings analysis on our website, we collect your first name, email address and ZIP code, and your answers about which option best describes you, your average monthly SDG&E bill and whether you own the property. If you ask for our free guide, we collect your email address. In both cases we also record the page you came from and, if you arrived through an ad, the ad campaign details in the link. If you hire us, we may also receive photos of your electrical panel or roof and your utility bills or usage data.

How we use it

We use your information to send you your analysis, reply to you, prepare and deliver the work you hire us for, understand which of our ads and messages are useful to people, and keep normal business records. We email you about your request. If you sign up for our free guide, or check the optional box on our analysis form, we also send occasional emails about SDG&E rates, solar and EV charging. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by writing to info@greenmove.energy. We stop within 10 business days of your request. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with companies that help us run the business: our website host, our form delivery service (FormSubmit), our email provider, and Google, as described below. They may use it only to provide their service to us. We may also share information when the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses the Google tag (gtag.js) from Google Ads. It sets cookies that tell us which of our ads brought you to the site and what you did here, such as requesting an analysis. Google may also use this information to show you ads on other websites and to measure them, under Google's own policies. You can turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com or block cookies in your browser; the site still works without them.

Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from unpkg.com, which receive your IP address in order to deliver them. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, because there is no common standard for them.

Keeping and changing your information

We keep your information as long as we need it to respond to you, provide our services and keep business records. You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we have about you, or to stop emailing you, by writing to info@greenmove.energy.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
